The Prayer of Guru-Yoga
Oh! Holy Guru, The Personification of all gods and saints, an Ocean full of compassion,
I ask you like the blind to show me infallible way to the summits of Yoga, bearing sweet fruits of Mukti.
Oh! The Perfect, I am sick with Sansara and ask you, show me way of the healing, leading to Nirvana.
Oh! Treasure which fulfils the wishes, I sleep among illusions and ask you, show me perfect way of Awakening.
Oh! Omniscient, I drown in the ocean of births and deaths and ask you, show me saving way to the golden island of Liberation.
Oh! Blessed, I aimlessly eddy in Karma and passions of the material world and ask you, show me the Great Way to the Eternity of Unborn Self.

Promise of respectful attitude to Dharma is internal obligation of sincerity and purity of thoughts which disciple make when he joining to the Teaching.
